Cooper Wiring Devices Adds Online Customer Support Services


CWD ADDS NEW SALES, MARKETING POSITIONS

Long Island City, New York, February 2004 - Cooper Wiring Devices (CWD) has appointed Oscar Ibarra as Director, International Sales, and James Vaccaro as Commercial Products Manager. CWD manufactures more than 10,000 electrical wiring devices for industrial, commercial and residential markets.

Reporting to Executive Vice President Jeff Roberts, Ibarra has more than 25 years in international sales, marketing and general management in a diverse number of industries, including Sales Director of Xantrex Technology and Schneider Electric SA. With a working knowledge of five languages, he holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Caracas, Venezuela, and also a degree in Marketing and Distribution Management.

Reporting to Marketing Vice President James Knapik, Vaccaro has a strong background in electrical sales and engineering and previously served as a field sales engineer with Cooper Crouse-Hinds in the Philadelphia territory. He earned a B.S. in civil engineering at Villanova.

Both Ibarra and Vaccaro will initially be based at CWD headquarters in Long Island City.
