LONG ISLAND CITY, N.Y., February 28, 2003 - Steve Elsdon
and Bill Briggs have been appointed to new positions in
Cooper Wiring Devices and Cooper Retail Divisions in Canada,
both prime resources for a broad range of wiring devices
in industrial, commercial, residential and retail markets.
Elsdon becomes the new Director of Cooper Wiring Devices,
Canada, and carries the responsibility of directing the
Canadian Retail Division. This new position oversees all
product lines in all markets for more than 10,000 Cooper
Wiring Device products in the country as well as Cooper
Lighting retail sales.
Briggs, formerly National Sales Manager for the group,
reports to Elsdon in the newly created position of National
Sales Manager, Cooper Retail Division, which comprises
both the Cooper Wiring Devices and Cooper Lighting product
line in the Canadian retail marketplace.
Among Cooper Wiring Devices' product lines are electrical
switches and receptacles, locking devices, pin and sleeve
devices, straight blade plugs and connectors, ground fault
circuit interrupters, surge suppressors, wallplates and
many others.
